Thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful rooms in this place.
The pool area was great and the location was stunning and unbeatable, really close to the restaurant, and shops & restaurants. The breakfast had decent choices and there were bacon, meats, cakes, and scrambled eggs: )

great for peace and tranquility and accommodation of staff...a very special vacation. a short walk to town center that is very safe and fun.spectacular views... a short trip by bus to a beautiful beach with few stairs which is a big plus in Taormina...
not a kid friendly hotel which is fine...this should be a couples or adult relaxing vacation destination.

Loved the setting! We thought it was the best location in Taormina. Friendly, helpful staff. Great pool and pool setting.
Drinks were outrageously expensive at the pool bar. It would be nice if the hotel would provide shuttle service to Isola Bella. It wasw quite a hike from the hotel down all of the stairs to the beach. it took a good half hour and was, of course, very hot.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful and tranquil area, just a short stroll away from restaurants and attractions in Taormina, Sicily. the room was impeccably clean, and I was pleasantly surprised by the balcony, storage space, and hair dryer. - the location is breathtaking, only a 10-15 minute walk from a restored Catholic church.

The only thing I liked about this hotel was "the view".
This hotel is rated as 5 star luxury. I would class the hotel as maybe 4star, although that may be questionable. The hotel is extremely expensive, two gin and tonics by the pool were €32.00!! The staff were pleasant as long as you didn't bother them. The hotel provide a shuttle bus to the town and the beach, however it seemed that staff did not want you requesting this service!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were wonderfully attentive and very friendly - especially Nino at the restaurant / bar and Mario at the pool. The atmosphere was very romantic and the scenery was breathtaking. It took only minutes to walk to the town of Taiormina - and the hotel also offered a very convenient shuttle bus service. We highly recommend this hotel. Bellissima.

Friendly staff speaking good English (and other languages) ; good location which is easy to reach by car (important in this area) free parking; walk into town uphill is good exercise but there is a frequent free shuttle as well;good buffet breakfast with eggs any style on request and outstanding baking; wonderful large terrace for breakfast and other meals; room with great view from proper balcony with nice chairs and little traffic noise; bathrobes and slippers.
Not really a 5 star lux hotel standard; old fashioned décor not always maintained; very poor bedroom lighting due to ancient bulbs (partially fixed); unimpressive bath goodies; coarse sheets (for 5 *); one bottle of water on arrival only; very late notice of problem with mains water (not their fault but they waited almost a day to tell guests not to use the muddy water!). Pool was not open in April despite hot weather - they have a routine... The potential is there but it seems they are mean somehow and for this do not merit the 5*.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
